Yoga Therapy for Young People

Our approach is child-centred, trauma informed, creative, compassionate and playful. Sessions empower young people to explore their inner and outer world, feeling more connected and content. They are able to identify ways to self-regulate through movement, breath and rest and increase self-awareness – understanding feelings and emotions in the body. Natural creativity occurs through exploration and play.

Workshops for Parents & Teachers

We offer a variety of workshops to support people who work with young people. These workshops can include a full yoga and movement session for adults to experience the benefits, strategies and ideas to ensure young people feel safe and empowered in their care and support.

We first met The Snug at a coffee morning run by a special needs charity I volunteer for and I knew straight away it was something I would like to do with my son. D is non-verbal, autistic and has a rare chromosomal syndrome and many sensory processing issues and violent challenging behaviour. Since starting yoga a year ago the change in him has been remarkable, he is able to regulate his breathing and has the skills to calm his mind and body.
